Kibble goes stale in the bag. The fats oxidise once air gets to it, which is why the last third of a bag is the part your dog picks at rather than eats. A rolled-over bag with a peg on it does not stop that.
Why It Works
✓
Properly airtight. A gasketed lid that seals rather than just sits on top, so the food at the bottom is as fresh as the food at the top.
✓
Pours without a scoop. A hinged spout on the lid lets you pour straight into the bowl one-handed, which is the feature you will actually use twice a day.
✓
Measuring scoop included. Stops the slow creep in portion size that puts weight on a dog without anyone noticing.
✓
Keeps pests out. Ants and pantry moths cannot get into a sealed container the way they get into a folded bag.
✓
Stacks and stores. Flat sided so it sits in a cupboard or under a bench instead of taking a corner of the laundry.
