A blanket on the sofa is not really for the dog. It is so the dog can be on the sofa. Which means it needs to be soft enough that they choose it, and washable enough that you do not mind them using it.
Why It Works
✓
Thick coral fleece. Genuinely plush on both faces, not a thin printed sheet that flattens after one wash.
✓
Catches the hair. Fur collects in the fleece rather than working into your upholstery or car seat, and comes out in the wash.
✓
Warm without weight. Enough insulation for an older dog or a short-coated breed in winter, without pinning them down.
✓
Three sizes. Small for a cat or a crate, medium for a dog bed, large to cover a sofa cushion or the back seat.
✓
Washes and keeps its shape. Machine wash cold. The pile stays lofted instead of going matted and hard.
